Alex Taylor is a New York based Writer, Director, and Producer. He aims to combine his love for film with his advocacy for the LGBTQ+ Community. He wants to push the limits placed on queer characters in mainstream film by writing unique, authentic stories. Specifically, he would like to provide his community a chance to shine in action movies and create the next Gay John Wick. This is Alex’s personal favorite genre and one that could stand for more queer representation.
After receiving a College Emmy Nomination for his work as a Producer, Alex graduated with a BFA in Film Production from the FSU Film School. Now, working out of New York City, he seeks to continue his work in film production and development and strives to build a strong community of fellow filmmakers to help him achieve his gay action movie goals.

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER JEFF GOES SWIMMING (DOCUMENTARY)
Assisting in Marketing and Distribution for independent feature documentary, Jeff Goes Swimming, Directed by Pierce Ryan and Bretton Miller, Produced by Liam Fineout. Managing logistics and events for Festival Circuit, Theatrical Release, Educational Distribution, and VOD Release as well as Social Marketing rollout. This project is now in post-production, release date not yet set.
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER WORKING CLASS (FEATURE FILM)
Assisted in Producing an independent feature film with New York based Writer/Director Travae Davis and Producer Jaelyn Ellis. Assisted in managing production logistics and operations and oversaw cast/crew communications for the duration of the project. This project is now in post-production, release date not yet set.
CONTENT STRATEGIST and EDITOR CLIK
Developed and managed clients for Editing Software Developer, Clik. Organized client production schedules and oversaw post production work for variety of Corporate Accounts and Production Companies. Clients included Tech Companies, Content Creators, Startups, and Agencies.
WRITER/DIRECTOR and PRODUCER SHITSHOW (FEATURE FILM)
Developed and produced an independent micro-budget feature film while completing a summer semester at FSU. The film is an adventure comedy about college film students trying to make a film when inevitably everything goes really, really wrong. The film premiered in Tallahassee in May 2025 and now enters its film festival circuit.
FOUNDER HOT LATTE PRODUCTIONS, LLC
Founded and currently operating a small video production company that specializes in making promotional material for small businesses and producing independent films with FSU Film School students and Alum. In this role, oversaw development, production, and post-production /marketing of creative material.
